Conference Overview
This is the 18th annual continuing education program designed for BAYADA Home Health
Care clinical leaders. The educational programs offered this year are based on health care
trends, BAYADA-specific education and advancements, and overall leadership development.

  • Provide educational sessions to enhance knowledge and skill in relation to the specialty practice that you manage

Why Case Management Matters: Recognize and practice the role of case management/care coordination as the unified approach to providing quality care and clinical coordination of our clients and management of field employees.

TeamSTEPPS In Action: Capture "real life" information from the TeamSTEPPS pilot in our Charlotte, NC Adult Nursing office. The pilot included education to field staff, clients and their families.

  • Describe the role of case management/care coordination in providing optimal clinical oversight and quality care to the client and their family

TeamSTEPPS In Action

  • Recognize how TeamSTEPPS works in a service office and the home setting

  • Utilize the concept of TeamSTEPPS to support office employees, field employees, clients and their families

Barb BancroftRN, MSN, PNP 

Barb has provided more than 2200 continuing education events on topics pertaining to pathophysiology, physical assessment, and pharmacology to health care professionals throughout the United States and Canada. She has been the motivational keynote speaker on health maintenance topics for numerous nursing associations as well as for corporate groups and events. She has held faculty positions at the University of Virginia, the University of Arkansas, Loyola University of Chicago, and St. Xavier University of Chicago. She has provided courses on advanced pathophysiology, pharmacology and physical assessment to graduate and undergraduate students. Barb is a fascinating and highly informative speaker whose dynamic presentation style makes learning enjoyable. She provides a wealth of clinical information that can be applied to daily practice. 

Marie Blessington, RN

Marie has been with BAYADA for 25 years. She is the director of the Clinical Standards and Leadership (CSL) office. She is familiar with all state scope laws and codes of conduct. Part of her key responsibities is to assist the leaders in this organization with making decisions about breaches in professional practice and/ or conduct. She is involved in several committees that are devoted to examining quality care, such as sentinel event and performance improvement. She has been a TeamSTEPPS master trainer since 2014.

Nori Fey, ESQ

Nori works directly on a day-to-day basis with adverse incidents and client safety issues.  The connection between the Legal Services office and BAYADA Clinical Managers is very strong.  To pursue better client safety and to be able to support the Clinical Managers by providing more communication and teamwork tools, lead Nori to become a TeamSTEPPS Master Trainer in 2014.

Ron Ross, MSOD, CPCC

Ron is an excellent instructor and has dedicated his career to developing others.  He is a dynamic and engaging speaker with over 19 years of experience.  Ron completed his Masters Degree in Organization Development and Leadership in 2015.  Additionaly, Ron is a certified leadership coach who works one-on-one with leaders at all levels in Health Care.
