Conference Overview
This is the 18th annual continuing education program designed for BAYADA Home Health
Care clinical leaders. The educational programs offered this year are based on health care
trends, BAYADA-specific education and advancements, and overall leadership development.

TeamSTEPPS In Action: Capture "real life" information from the TeamSTEPPS pilot in our Charlotte, NC Adult Nursing office. The pilot included education to field staff, clients and their families.

Barb Bancroft, RN, MSN, PNP

Barb has provided more than 2200 continuing education events on topics pertaining to pathophysiology, physical assessment, and pharmacology to health care professionals throughout the United States and Canada. She has been the motivational keynote speaker on health maintenance topics for numerous nursing associations as well as for corporate groups and events. She has held faculty positions at the University of Virginia, the University of Arkansas, Loyola University of Chicago, and St. Xavier University of Chicago. She has provided courses on advanced pathophysiology, pharmacology and physical assessment to graduate and undergraduate students. Barb is a fascinating and highly informative speaker whose dynamic presentation style makes learning enjoyable. She provides a wealth of clinical information that can be applied to daily practice.

Sharon Driscoll, RN, CRRN

Sharon Driscoll is a certified Rehabilitation Nurse with 40 plus years of nursing experience. Sharon has worked for the Office of Clinical Standards and Leadership for the past 10+ years and has served as Director in that office for majority of the time. She works closely with LS and the practices to evaluate and follow up on high risk incident data and heads the Fall prevention program. Sharon became a Team STEPPS Master Trainer in 2012 and since then has been working to develop and bring the TeamSTEPPS methodologies and practice in BAYADA Home Health Care.

Nori Fey, ESQ

Nori works directly on a day-to-day basis with adverse incidents and client safety issues. The connection between the Legal Services office and BAYADA Clinical Managers is very strong. To pursue better client safety and to be able to support the Clinical Managers by providing more communication and teamwork tools, lead Nori to become a TeamSTEPPS Master Trainer in 2014.

Ron Ross, MSOD, CPCC

Ron is an excellent instructor and has dedicated his career to developing others. He is a dynamic and engaging speaker with over 19 years of experience. Ron completed his Masters Degree in Organization Development and Leadership in 2015. Additionaly, Ron is a certified leadership coach who works one-on-one with leaders at all levels in Health Care.

Bonali Barua Kautz, PT, MPT, MA

Bonali Barua Kautz is director of clinical operations for Arizona and New Mexico for BAYADA Home Health Care. Bonali is on the faculty for Preceptor Certification Program. She is a graduate of BAYADA's Clinical Associate Leadership Development Program. She has graduate degrees in physical therapy from the University of Iowa and in exercise physiology from Minnesota State University at Mankato. She has extensive knowledge in case management both as a field clinician as well as in mentoring clinical managers and clinicians.

Ellen Jaye Maher, R.N.

Ellen has been at BAYADA since 2007. During her time at BAYADA she has held the position of Clinical Manager for 5 years working with a client census that grew from 43 to 250 clients. She then transitioned into the Director of Clinical Operations for the Shamrock Division. She comes with years of experience with case management and the use of an RN/LPN team to help support effective quality care for our clients.

Kathryn A. Hawley RN, BSN, MCO-P

Kathy has been with Bayada since 2001. She began as a field nurse in the PED and RAP offices. In 2008 she transitioned to the Clinical Manager role in the Raleigh Pediatric office. While a Clinical Manager, she established the role of Clinical Liaison for the new transitional care programs at Duke University Medical Center and UNC Children's Hospital. Currently Kathy is the Manager of Clinical Operations for the Freesia and Zinnia divisions.
