The purpose of these activities are as follows:
TeamSTEPPS 3: Stepping It Up! To assist the clinician in developing and implementing a plan to transition TeamSTEPPS into the clinet's home.
Reclaiming Your Joy As A Clinical Leader To increase job and individual satisfaction without working more and to recognize the symptoms and signs of burnout.
Health Coaching - A Partnership Model Gaining Momentum To introduce a partnership model for individual engagement that is ideally suited to the "whole person" needs; techniques of motivational interviewing will be explored and practiced as a means of addressing identified areas of concern.
Population Health Management To discuss our journey to value based care through application of strategies and interventions to defined populations.

- define health coaching and the evidenced based health coaching model
- compare and contract traditional and partnership patient care models
- define the MI principles and tools - PACE
- participate in persuasion and motivational interviewing exercises
Population Health Management
- understand the current healthcare environment
- understand the role of population health in the current healthcare environment
- understand palliative care as the set of specially designed interventions that transcend disease states and is rooted in enhancing quality of life
- understand the role of cross practice collaboration in driving population health management
Barbara Bancroft, RN, MSN, PNP
Barbara has provided more than 2200 continuing education events on topics pertaining to pathophysiology, physical assessment, and pharmacology to health care professionals throughout the United States and Canada. She has been the motivational keynote speaker on health maintenance topics for numerous nursing associations as well as for corporate groups and events. She has held faculty positions at the University of Virginia, the University of Arkansas, Loyola University of Chicago, and St. Xavier University of Chicago. She has provided courses on advanced pathophysiology, pharmacology and physical assessment to graduate and undergraduate students. Barb is a fascinating and highly informative speaker whose dynamic presentation style makes learning enjoyable. She provides a wealth of clinical information that can be applied to daily practice.
Nori Fey, ESQ
Nori works directly on a day-to-day basis with adverse incidents and client safety issues. The connection between the Legal Services office and BAYADA Clinical Managers is very strong. To pursue better client safety and to be able to support the Clinical Managers by providing more communication and teamwork tools, lead Nori and others within BAYADA to become a TeamSTEPPS Master Trainer.
Sharon Driscoll, RN, CRRN
Sharon is a certified Rehabilitation Nurse with 40 plus years of nursing experience with a majority of those years specializing in rehabiliation. Sharon has worked for the past 10+ years for the office of Clinical Standards and Leadership. She works closely with the Legal Services office and BAYADA practices to evaluate and follow up on high risk incident data as well as heading up the Fall Prevention Program. Sharon has been a TeamSTEPPS Master Trainer since 2012.
Ron Ross, MSOD, CPCC
Ron is an excellent instructor and has dedicated his career to developing others. He is a dynamic and engaging speaker with over 19 years of experience. Ron completed his Masters Degree in Organization Development and Leadership in 2015. Additionaly, Ron is a certified leadership coach who works one-on-one with leaders at all levels in Health Care.
Barbara Springs, RN, BSN
For more than 25 years, Barbara has worked with diverse populations through international humanitarian aide organizations and has witnessed the incredible resiliency that humans can achieve to overcome difficulty. She has been a registered nurse for 18 years. Barbara has worked in the role of clinical manager for BAYADA and understands the demanding pace and great responsibility the job entails. She has been a service office director and director of clinical operations for the Home Health practice and currenly serves as an office director for Home Care. Barbara is passionate about helping managers develop skills that allow them to find the joy of helping others learn and grow while maintaining their own life balance. She believes that, while happiness depends on circumstance, joy comes from deep within and is fed by our individual sense of self awareness and personal growth.
Allison Sterner, RN, RHC
Allison has been a registered nurse for 24 years. Her past experience includes Emergency Room nuring, Home Health and Hospice nursing, staff and community education on various topics including the Partnership model, Motivational Interviewing and general overview of Health Coaching. Allison currently serves as a member of the Nursing and Clinical Advisory groups to review best practice guidelines for various disease specific management.
Mandeep K. Mangat, MD, MPH
Mandeep is a physician and public health professional. She leads Population Health Management initiatives for the Home Health practice. She has over 15 years of extensive clinical and administrative experience in hospital medicine, clinical operations, population health and operational efficiency improvement in both national and international settings. Her interests include outcomes management, results driven continuous improvement and multilevel determinants of population health. She received her medical degree (MD) from Saint Petersburg Medical Academy, Masters degree in Public Health (MPH) degree with a focus in Healthcare Administration from West Chester University and Lean Six Sigma Black belt (LSSBB) from Villanova University. She is an active member of American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), Lean Healthcare Exchange and Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI).

Criteria for Successful Completion of Activity to Claim CE Certificate
- Attend planned length of each activity missing no more than 10 minutes
- Validation by CE Administration of attendance via sign-in sheet
- You will receive an email from BAYADA University prompting you to complete an evaluation on education.bayada.com
