Attendees will be learn the definition, causes of, sign and symptoms, prognosis, management, and research on Parkinson's Disease.

Brooke Martin MS, OTR/L
Brooke is a registered and licensed occupational therapist (OTR/L), whose entire professional career has been in geriatrics and dementia care (9 years). Brooke previously worked for an outpatient therapy company that provided house calls for the geriatric population in both senior living communities and in the community at large. Brooke has been working for BAYADA for the past 6 years, delivering home health care services to both older adults and adults with intellectual disabilities. Brooke has completed 3 Parkinson's continuing education courses over the past 8 years, including a CE on the overall etiology and research on Parkinson's, as well as optimal exercise and medication regimens for optimal functioning and symptom management.
