Karyn Hatch, MSN, RN, CIC
Karyn is an Infection Prevention Manager for BAYADA Healthcare. Karyn currently oversees investigations and response for an array of diseases and conditions including hepatitis C, Legionella, tuberculosis, multi-drug resistant organisms and many other healthcare-associated infections. She has worked with Communicable Disease and Community Health at the Pennsylvania Department of Health (PADOH). During her time with the PADOH she has worked on a variety of investigations including Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Karyn has also worked as the Regional Manager of Infection Prevention and Control for Genesis HealthCare. She has also led a team of Infection Preventionists in developing policies and procedures as well as developing and delivering education across the State of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Karyn has a Master of Nursing in Nurse Education and a Certification in Infection Prevention and Control, or CIC®, credential. Karyn is currently a member of Pike County Pennsylvania Tick Borne Disease Task Force.
BAYADA Home Health Care is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
