The purpose of this activity is to provide the learner with information about stress from a biological and social standpoint. The learner will also learn the difference between acute and chronic stress, signs of it and ways to reduce it.

Anne Bunone, BSN, RN

Anne Bunone graduated from Adelphi University, Garden City, NY, in 1987 with a BSN degree, and has been a practicing
pediatric RN for 33 years. Anne's nursing experience includes hospital and rehabilitative pediatric floor nursing, hospital pediatric nurse supervision, public health nursing, pediatric case management, home care nursing including field nurse, clinical management and Anne's current position of Clinical Educator at Bayada Home Care. During Anne's twenty two years in home care nursing, she has gained experience in providing support and guidance to her client's families and field nurses, in response to their daily challenges and stressors.

Christina Gomes, BSN, RN

Cristina Gomes has worked for Bayada Home Health Care as a clinical educator for the last 6 years. She is also a clinical simulation lab instructor and is the lead instructor for the Residency Program in the Rhode Island Skilled Office. Cristina is responsible for all of the teaching and training's of all nurses new and ongoing every year.


BAYADA Home Health Care is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
