This course will provide participants with an understanding of non-pharmacological interventions for clients with Dementia. It will cover common behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia and the importantance of using non-pharmacological intervenitons as the first course of behavior management treatment.

Michele R. Berman, PT, DPT, MS
Michele joined Bayada Home Health Care in 2009 after working for over 20 years as a leader in both the private and not for profit home health environment. Currently the national Director of Rehabilitation for the Bayada Home Health Practice, Michele provides leadership to divisional Directors of Clinical Operations throughout the country, taking on a central role at Bayada guiding development of both clinical and operational processes affecting quality of care and service delivery. Michele is a PT and the current director of rehabilitation for the Bayada Home Health Care. Michele has worked in the home health setting since 1993 in direct client care, managerial and educational capacties whereby has geriaitric dementia has been a focused area of interest in the home care setting.

by BAYADA for any reason the learner will receive a full refund for any applicable course fee.
