A Home Health Organizational Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic - Recorded Webinar
We are celebrating Nurse Week 2021!
The purpose of this activity is to provide a high-level overview describing how our organization pivoted to provide enterprise-wide support to our service offices and clinicians during the pandemic. I will discuss how we used the latest evidence and guidance from the CDC and OSHA to keep our health care workers safe and continue to provide care to our clients when many home health care agencies were not accepting COVID-19 positive clients.

At the end of this webinar the learner will be able to discuss how BAYADA:
- Created a unique COVID Command Center manned by multiple departments that shifted in their roles and responsibilities.
- Utilized intentional cascading of information in multiple formats so that all levels of the organization would receive it.
- Referenced CDC, OSHA, and other regulatory bodies to provide safe, effective care to our clients and protect our employees.
- Directly sourced PPE.
- Utilized enterprise tracking methodologies.
- Protected our employees by having them fit tested and wearing the appropriate PPE.

Kimberly Morris-Flores, MSN, RN
Kim works for BAYADA Home Health Care in Clinical Standards and Leadership (CSL). In this support role she supports and serves the organization and specialty practices by providing leadership and direction to attain clinical integrity, compliance, and performance. Since joining BAYADA in 2006 and she has fulfilled multiple support office roles with CSL, Legal Services, Quality Assurance as well as having been a Clinical Manager and field nurse. Kim is active on several internal committees with her organization and facilitates employee training classes. She is an alumnus of Drexel University where she obtained her MSN in 2018 and Thomas Jefferson University where she obtained her BSN in 1993. She considers herself to have been very fortunate over the years to have been able to work and learn from institutions like Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center, Bristol Myer Squib Children's Hospital in New Brunswick, and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Temple University Children’s Medical Center. Kim has been licensed as an RN in New Jersey and Pennsylvania since 1993.
BAYADA Home Health Care is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
