Otther healthcare providers are welcome to attend regardless of CE eligibility.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this educational activity the learner will be able to:

  • differentiate between normal aging, delirium, depression, and dementia
  • manage patients with delirium, depression, and dementia
  • describe nonpharmacological management of behaviors associated with dementia

Deborah Klaszky, MSN, APN

Deborah is a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse with a Masters of Science degree in Nursing. She specializes in the psychiatric care and treatment of the geriatric population. She is employed as a Clinical instructor for Rowan University, NJ Institute for Successful Aging and provides trainings on a variety of mental health topics all around the country. In addition, she has a busy clinical practice and provides psychiatric treatment to the mentally ill in hospitals, out-patient clinics and community settings. 


ANCC--BAYADA Home Health Care is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Criteria for Successful Completion of Activity

  • Attend planned length of activity missing no more than 10 minutes
  • Verification of attendance via sign-in sheet
  • Complete knowledge assessment after the course
  • Complete evaluation with electronic signature
