Otther healthcare providers are welcome to attend regardless of CE eligibility.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this educational activity the learner will be able to:
- differentiate between normal aging, delirium, depression, and dementia
- manage patients with delirium, depression, and dementia
- describe nonpharmacological management of behaviors associated with dementia
Deborah Klaszky, MSN, APN
Deborah is a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse with a Masters of Science degree in Nursing. She specializes in the psychiatric care and treatment of the geriatric population. She is employed as a Clinical instructor for Rowan University, NJ Institute for Successful Aging and provides trainings on a variety of mental health topics all around the country. In addition, she has a busy clinical practice and provides psychiatric treatment to the mentally ill in hospitals, out-patient clinics and community settings.
