Burns Prevention

The purpose of this activity is provide education on the types of burns seen in home care, the importance of completing a home assessment to mitigate burn risks, and tips to prevent burns. 

Criteria for Successful Completion of Activity to claim CE Certificate:
  • Review power point
  • Complete Post-Test with a passing score of > 80% 
  • Complete evaluation with electronic signature

Colleen T. Feeley, MSN, RN

Colleen has been a nurse for 20 years, 18 of those years in home care. She started with BAYADA Home Health Care in 2007 as a Clinical Manager and became a Clinical Support Specialist with the office of Clinical Standards and Leadership (CSL) in 2013. She has supported the organization as a Clinical Mentor and Quality Assurance Surveyor.  Her current roles include Nurse Planner for BAYADAs Continuing Education Program and she is a member of the Performance Improvement Team. 

Kimberly Morris- Flores, MSN, RN

Kim works for BAYADA Home Health Care in a dual role with Legal services and Clinical Standards and Leadership to provide litigation support for general and professional liability claims related to client care and perform peer review collaboration.  She joined BAYADA in 2006 and she has fulfilled multiple roles most recently being Director of Quality Assurance, Pediatrics, a Quality Assurance Surveyor, a Clinical Manager, and a field nurse for them.  Kim is active on several internal committees with her organization and facilitates employee training classes.  She considers herself to have been very fortunate over the years to have been able to work and learn from institutions like Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center, Bristol Myer Squib Children's Hospital in New Brunswick, and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Temple University Children’s Medical Center. Kim has been licensed as an RN in New Jersey and Pennsylvania since 1993.

BAYADA Home Health Care is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
