ALS: Lou Gehrig's Disease, Interventions to Promote Quality of Life Webinar

This virtual event will provide two contact hours to nurses on Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, a progressive neurological disease that strikes 6,400 Americans annually.  It is a disease that causes significant physical and emotional debilitation on the individual diagnosed and their loved one’s.  Living with ALS is challenging and the disease process is often daunting.  Greg Crawford, of BAYADA Home Health Care will speak to specific interventions that promote quality of life and give support to both the individual and their loved ones throughout the disease process.  Greg Crawford has been an occupational therapist for the past nine years dedicating his career to the Senior Living population and  is currently the Director of Senior Living for BAYADA Home Health Care.

    Greg Crawford has been an occupational therapist for the past nine years dedicating his career to the Senior Living population.  Greg has also worked in the pediatric, in-patient acute rehab and skilled nursing facility setting during his career.  Greg currently is a Certified Dementia-Care Practitioner (CDP) and is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and maintains his National Board Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).  Greg is currently the Director of Senior Living for BAYADA Home Health Care and supports the Pennsylvania geography for BAYADA Senior Living Solutions.
